DLC offers lacrosse programs for boys in grades K-8, who are residents of the Hunterdon Central Regional High School sending district.

Boys Program Philosophy

We strive to provide each player the appropriate age level of coaching instruction; we seek to build a player’s confidence in learning lacrosse skills; we aspire to develop a sense of teamwork and fair play; we honor the game by respecting the rules, our opponents, officials, our teammates and ourselves; and we aim to develop character values that will benefit today’s players in later years and in other endeavors. Players will learn the value of teamwork, determination, and commitment, and HAVE FUN playing lacrosse.

The K-2nd Grade clinic lacrosse program goals are to provide a SECURE, ACTIVE, FUN and EDUCATIONAL lacrosse experience for enthusiastic boys.   We will introduce players to the proper lacrosse techniques of catching, throwing and shooting to build a strong foundation, while maintaining an age appropriate environment.

Team Evaluations Grades 5-8

As in years past, there are some boys grades that will be divided into separate teams. This is due to the size of our program and will be determined after initial registration numbers are in. The divisions will take place prior to the season and will be based on player evaluations.

Team Practices/Schedules (grades 3-7)

Team Practices will begin in early March.  Practices will be held three times a week.   Games and/or tournaments may be scheduled on any day of the week.
