Work Bond FAQs

What is the purpose of the Work Bond?   Devils Lacrosse Club is a 100% volunteer organization, including the coaches and board of directors.  The work bond encourages our families to volunteer and help sustain the club. Your volunteer work hours help to preserve the level of excellence that the Devils Lacrosse Club has achieved over the years.

What is the Work Bond?   A work bond is a bond payment to Devils Lacrosse Club when your child enters the recreational Spring program. This payment is deposited but ultimately can be refunded in full when you have fulfilled 4 hours of volunteer service for the program.

How much is the Work Bond?   The work bond is $100

How many hours do I have to fulfill?  4 hours per family

-If I have 2 or 3 children in the program?
2 children= 6 hours, 3 or more children = 8 hours.

How do I satisfy the Work Bond requirements?   We will be using an online sign up through our website, a link will be provided at the beginning and updated throughout the season.

How do I get my Work Bond refund?   If you have satisfied your work bond requirements, you will be issued a full refund.  If you choose not to work, you forfeit the bond, and those monies are used for equipment, field maintenance and capital improvements.  Either way, the work bond is a critical part of what keeps this program running. Refunds are issued within 30 days of the end of season to the original form of payment. If you wish to receive a check please advise the Workbond Coordinator prior to the end of season.

What happens if I choose not to volunteer?   If you choose not to meet your commitment, you will forfeit the bond to the club.
